The IPSA Research Committee 18 on Asian and Pacific Studies welcomes scholars, researchers, teachers, graduate students, and members of the wider political science community who are interested in the politics, societies, and international relations of Asia and the Pacific.

RC18 provides a space for scholarly exchange, collaboration, and community-building among those working on Asian and Pacific studies. Members are encouraged to participate in RC18 activities, propose panels and workshops, share research updates, contribute to newsletters, and collaborate in future academic initiatives.

Who may join?

Membership in IPSA Research Committees is open to individual members of IPSA and to members of national political science associations affiliated with IPSA.

Scholars and researchers interested in RC18 may also contact the committee to express their interest in joining the RC18 network and participating in its activities.
