Professor Dr. Meena Bardia - IPSA RC18 Vice-Chair on behalf of the International Political Science Association Research Committee 18 (IPSA RC18) will join forces with the Gandhian Study Centre, Jai Narain Vyas University (JNVU), University of New Delhi, Udaipur University, and the Department of Peace & Non-violence, Government of Rajasthan. Co-sponsored by the Mahatma Gandhi Institute for Governance & Social Sciences, these institutions organize an International Conference on the "Gandhian Way of World Peace and Non-violence in Contemporary Times" from August 8th to 10th - Hybrid Conference.


Keynote speakers include Dr. Christian Bartolf from the Gandhi Information Center, Berlin, Germany; Shri Kumar Prashant of the Gandhi Peace Foundation, New Delhi; Prof. B M Sharma from the Mahatma Gandhi Institute for Governance & Social Science, and Prof. Purushotam Agrawal, a former member of the Union Public Service Commission, New Delhi.


Amid global conflict and geopolitical shifts, this conference seeks to stimulate debates around peace and non-violence, based on Gandhian principles, aiming to contribute towards a more peaceful world.
